What is Bonegrafting?
Bone grafting material is used for treatment of gum disease, tooth extraction sites, and implant placement. We specifically use this graft material to fill tooth extraction sites. Bone graft material is saturated in sterile saline solution and placed into the surgical site. Once the site has been filled, we then place a liquid band-aid which will help seal off the site until the gum tissue heals.Placing this bone grafting material will help regenerate the bone which will then give you a fuller ridge for future tooth replacement such as dental implants, bridge, or denture.
