At Home Teeth Whitening

ID-100229149

An effective and affordable option

At home teeth whitening is a cost-effective alternative to the laser whitening procedure. It involves creating custom fit clear, thin molds of your mouth that are filled with specialized whitening gel. These molds are then worn for a small amount of time each day. Maximum whitening potential of your teeth can be expected within two to three weeks. While this is the average time it takes to reach maximum whitening, it can be significantly faster for some patients.

Easy touch up the shade of your teeth

The added bonus of the take home whitening alternative is that additional whitening gel syringes can be purchased for follow up whitening refresher treatments. This will keep your teeth at your desired shade for as long as you maintain them. As most whitening systems can sometimes cause additional tooth sensitivity, we recommend using a desensitizing toothpaste regularly while treating your teeth. This toothpaste is available in-office, and we recommend Sensodyne. Sensitivity post-whitening is usually only temporary and as the molecules are slowly released from your teeth it should fade away while maintaining their new shade of white.

In a hurry for a whiter smile?

It should be noted that many people choose laser whitening over the take home system due to the relative speed of the treatment. Laser whitening will also tend to provide better results that leave patients more than happy with their bright white smiles. If you are unsure which method of whitening is right for you, we will be happy to schedule a free consultation for you.
